After quite a while resting on my more or less laurels (past listings) it's time to get a move on and put up some more listings. My goal is five books every day from now on. This should be achievable, but not according to my past performance.

These books get listed in three places: on Amazon, Biblio, and Half. Books without ISBNs (older books) generally will not be listed on half. My prices might vary between these three places. Amazon and Half tell me competing prices, so I peg mine on them. Thus, if the lowest price for Deadly Percheron is $98 on Amazon, I might peg mine at $95. If it weren't my only copy maybe I'd be more reasonable. In fact, I think my Biblio listing is more reasonable.

Going forward (and possibly backward), links to titles of books will send you to the main Amazon listing. My listing will be somewhere amidst the other maybe 237 listings. This is where my photo of the book can be seen, which will probably be a better one than the one Amazon features. Half doesn't let me attach my own photo—at least I don't think it does. Photos are also at biblio. Lots of older listings still don't have photos. Nor updated prices.

I've been lousy at selling direct via email. Sorry about that, if you've tried me. Listing through the major portals keeps me honest—also prompt and reliable.

Available May 2007

This volume represents the first time these stories have been collected.

"Little Red’s Tango" — "Lapland, or Film Noir" — "Donald, Duck!" —
"The Geezers" — "Mr. Aickman’s Air Rifle"

from the author's note:
I wrote three of these stories in response to requests by editors, the remaining two for the specifically mystery-themed anthologies produced by the Adams Round Table, of which I was until recently a member. What unites them is an ongoing engagement with the nature of genre literature.

03/04/07 SUN:
---Word from Millipede:
We now have plenty of the cloth bound edition of
Frankenstein available for $225 postpaid. It features the
wood engravings of Lynd Ward -- so immaculately reproduced
that the Ward estate was moved enough to say that they
looked better than the originals!

We are running low on the 22-copy leather edition, which is
signed by Patrick McGrath. We have about 9 copies remaining
of this edition. The leather edition comes with 10 x 14
Ward prints in their own folder and is housed in a
traycase.

Also, we have several copies of the cloth edition of
Algernon Blackwood, the first in the Masters of the Weird
Tale series, available for $250 postpaid. This book is 992
pages and features color photographs by Clarence John
Laughlin. It is housed in an attractive slipcase.

The leather edition, available for $1,000, comes with
Laughlin prints on a special heavy paper, 10 x 14 in size,
in their own folder, inside a large traycase.

Chimera 2, available for $225, is a build-to-order item,
where you pick the artwork for the slipcase. It features
color artwork by Don Brautigam (The Stand, Night Shift,
several Dean Koontz and Stephen King covers); Don Punchatz
(Harlan Ellison works, among many others); John Bonath; and
Han Nguyen. It also features film essays, philosophy
essays, fiction, and more. The leather edition is signed by
Brautigam, Punchatz, Nguyen, Bonath, Ramsey Campbell, and
many others, and comes with extra 10 x 14 prints and is
enclosed in a traycase. It is $1,250 postpaid.
