---Took the scenic route back to Polk City from Columbia--avoiding Hwy. 63 like the plague. Indeed northern Missouri is a scenic place. The roads were smooth but windy and hilly--and void of other traffic. It was a picture-perfect day and I had plenty of time. One concern about getting back was to dump all the spam email that would have accumulated since the last time I dealt with it on Tuesday, in case my in-box was getting too full to accept legitimate emissives. That was about the third thing I did when I got back. I hope nothing legit got bounced. Now I have to catch up--not that I was even close to being caught up enough to allow for a few days being taken off as it was. I like to think I am not the electric company or the cable guy, so maybe I can claim a little leeway--but I think the amount of leeway I have been taking has become out of hand. I will try to get back to work now!
