After quite a while resting on my more or less laurels (past listings) it's time to get a move on and put up some more listings. My goal is five books every day from now on. This should be achievable, but not according to my past performance.

These books get listed in three places: on Amazon, Biblio, and Half. Books without ISBNs (older books) generally will not be listed on half. My prices might vary between these three places. Amazon and Half tell me competing prices, so I peg mine on them. Thus, if the lowest price for Deadly Percheron is $98 on Amazon, I might peg mine at $95. If it weren't my only copy maybe I'd be more reasonable. In fact, I think my Biblio listing is more reasonable.

Going forward (and possibly backward), links to titles of books will send you to the main Amazon listing. My listing will be somewhere amidst the other maybe 237 listings. This is where my photo of the book can be seen, which will probably be a better one than the one Amazon features. Half doesn't let me attach my own photo—at least I don't think it does. Photos are also at biblio. Lots of older listings still don't have photos. Nor updated prices.

I've been lousy at selling direct via email. Sorry about that, if you've tried me. Listing through the major portals keeps me honest—also prompt and reliable.

05/14/04 FRI:
---When I went to try to do a little catch-up on blog entries, to at least have a little something for possible backfill later, I noticed www.blogger.com was quite transmogrified--something which I guess is endemic to the Internet. Old sites are stale sites. There are plenty of abandoned efforts out there. I am not sure all the bugs are out of this version, but checking into it a bit I notice I can enable a comments feature. So maybe now if anyone wants to make any comments they can do so. I haven't necessarily wanted this to always be a one-way street, so I welcome any comments that anyone might think of to post. In that spirit maybe I will try to be a little more comment-worthy in my postings. Certainly a lot occurs to comment on, but I don't want to be just uttering things which are obvious and probably ill-informed, not that that stops anyone. Anyway, it looks like another fun little thing to have be out there.

---Working on new package insert sheets now that I have three pages of new-arrival paperbacks printed out. Maybe I will include info on the new Golden Gryphon books I expect to be here any day now.

---Ran five miles in best time since last December (44:34). The coolness of the air this morning--probably in the low 40s and overcast--was the chief enabling factor.
